Low Visibility Gets an Award

Low Visibility: New York was selected to be exhibited in the Art Center of New Jersey as part of the juried art exhibition 23rd International Juried Show. Additionally, Adelina Vlas, Assistant Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, selected it to receive an Honorable Mention award.

Seeing Other People

Works from Liz's Cheeseburger Soup series of chine collé etchings and oil paintings are on view at Seeing Other People, a group exhibition of contemporary portraiture at Oklahoma City's underground Invited Artist Gallery. The exhibit will be up through April 15, 2009.

Live Painting Performance

All This is That and the Other Thing: Art in the Medium of Space is up at IAO Gallery (in Oklahoma City) until February 13th, 2009. For the opening of this show of installations on January 17th, Liz did six portraits in six hours to create IAO 6 (2009).  Romy Owens is pictured posing, above. Other 24 hour projects exhibited in the space include 24/24 Liz Roth (1996), Mother Fools 24/24/ (2005), Allegheny 16 (2007) and OSU 24 (2007). Low Visibility-Montana selected for Exhibition


One of my new ultrachrome pigment inkjet prints has been selected for inclusion in the 24th Annual International Exhibtion in the Meadows Gallery at the University of Texas at Tyler. The show will run from January-March 2009. You can see more from this series at my website.
